Mother keeps a close eye on her five cubs. The mane of white fur, called a mantle, on these cubs is thought to give these vulnerable babies the look of a honey badger, ostensibly to scare away potential predators. they'll shed this mantle as they grow older. Unfortunately, mortality rates among cheetah cubs is often as high as 90% so it's unlikely that more than one or two of these little ones will survive to adulthood.
